Enough is enough! The Snuggie is nothing more than a robe turned around! Here is a picture of an actual Snuggie and my roommate wearing her robe backwards. They look identical, apart from the jazzy pattern. Look how the fabric bunches around the neck! If a Snuggie wasn't a backwards robe it would have a proper neck hole/gap. Robes are cheaper and sold in more places; they have ties and pockets; and not to mention they were here first! This is not just a "they thought they were." This is a case of identity theft! Snuggies, knock it off.

Haha so true! Snuggies are such scams. I think they're one of those things that become popular just because their so stupid. Kind of like why Billy Mays (Oxyclean) became so popular, because it was so outrageous. Nice blog!
ReplyDeleteThis is very true. A couple of my friends have always wanted Snuggies, but I knew for a fact there was something wrong with them. Now I know! It's just the bathroom robe hanging on the hanger backwards. What a rip-off? What a waste of time and money for people who go out of their way to get their precious Snuggies?
ReplyDeleteGreat post and i couldn't agree more. My girlfriend wanted a Snuggie, but I knew there was a catch or something weird about it. She got mad at me because I said it might be a waste of money so just buy a sweater or a thermal and wear a beanie while your at. Saying that put me in the dog house but all in all Good blog and a very honest post.
ReplyDeleteI 100% agree with you. I understand people want to try new business ventures and all that stuff, but people need to step up the creativity. And the crazy part is that people are actually buying these things. If only people can see the picture of your roommate, they would realize they are being bamboozled! Anyway, i enjoy reading your blog and your enchilada post is so true!!
